Debra received her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Indianapolis and a
Master of Science in Social Work from Indiana University. Debra has experience as a Big Sister, Court Appointed Special Advocate, and home-based therapist working with varying levels of trauma and need.

Debra greets each child with a sense of curiosity and wonder. She believes that children are competent, unique, and deserving of respect. Offering a collaborative approach to care, Debra advocates for children and families beyond the walls of the play room. She is passionate about the power of play therapy and maintains her certification with the Association for Play Therapy.

Elizabeth Hayes
MSW, LCSW
Elizabeth Hayes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over twenty years of experience working with adolescents and adults. Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Franklin College and a Master of Science in Social Work from Indiana University. She began her career as a home-based therapist with George Junior Republic, working closely with DCS and probation. Elizabeth is well-trained in a variety of modalities which include but are not limited to CBT, TF-CBT and FFT.

Elizabeth is strengths-focused, person-centered therapist who works with clients dealing with a range of issues including acute and complex trauma, depression, and anxiety. Elizabeth’s calm demeanor and years of experience provide clients the encouragement and tools needed to find hope and healing.

Shiloh Family Counseling is conveniently located in Columbus, IN near Columbus North High School and Schmitt Elementary. We are a private practice counseling office serving children, adolescents, and adults.
