Debra Gayman LCSW, RPT

Debra holds a B.A. in English from the University of Indianapolis and a

Master of Science in Social Work from Indiana University.  With experience as a Big Sister, Court Appointed Special Advocate, home-based and clinical therapist,  Debra offers an empathic and collaborative approach to counseling.  

 

Debra is a neurodivergent affirming therapist and a certified AutPlay provider.  She is passionate about the power of play therapy and is happy to discuss its benefits with those exploring treatment options.  She maintains her certification with the Association for Play Therapy and is a member of the NASW.

Debra works primarily with children ages 3-12.

Elizabeth Hayes MSW, LCSW

Elizabeth Hayes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with over twenty years of experience working with adolescents and adults.  Elizabeth earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Franklin College and a Master of Science in Social Work from Indiana University. She began her career as a home-based therapist with George Junior Republic, working closely with DCS and probation.  Elizabeth is well-trained in a variety of modalities which include but are not limited to CBT, TF-CBT and FFT.

Elizabeth is strengths-focused, person-centered therapist who works with clients dealing with a range of issues including acute and complex trauma, depression, and anxiety. Elizabeth’s calm demeanor and years of experience provide clients the encouragement and tools needed to find hope and healing.

​

Elizabeth works with individuals 12 years-old to adult. 

Lauryn James

Lauryn earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and will receive her Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling in the summer of 2025 from Indiana University-Columbus. She will be pursuing a Mental Health Counseling license in 2025 as well. Lauryn has experience in adolescent school and home-based services, acute inpatient psychiatric treatment, and psychiatric crisis intervention. She has worked with a diverse client population and all levels of need.

Lauryn is a person-centered therapist with a therapeutic approach rooted in empathy and unconditional positive regard. She embraces the client’s strengths to foster growth and self-discovery in a safe space where all can feel heard and valued. Lauryn believes that everyone has the capacity for self-healing and personal transformation. 

 

Lauryn works with individuals ages 15 & up and currently has self-pay openings at a reduced rate.

Shiloh Family Counseling  is conveniently located in Columbus, IN near Columbus North High School and Schmitt Elementary.  We are a private practice counseling office serving children, adolescents, and adults.
